Ask the Senate to support the IRS protecting it with much needed funding

(A bad bill passed in the House- we need the Senate block it.)

The new House Republicans immediately passed a bill to take back $80 Billion dollars that the Biden administration has allocated to update and support the IRS in it’s work.  The Republican’s incorrectly call the bill: “The Family and Small Business Taxpayer Protection Act.”  The title is highly misleading.  The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said the measure would INCREASE the budget deficit by more that $114 billion dollars by 2032 because the cut in funding would mean wealthy tax-cheats would continue to evade paying their share of taxes.  The increased funding is needed to improve technology at the IRS, to improve customer service, and to hire auditors of corporate and highest net income taxpayers.  Janet Yellen has ordered the IRS -NOT- to increase audit rates on households earning less than $400,000 per year.
