ACTION 1:

Ask your Reps to sign Sen. Warren’s letter!

Let’s get all the Massachusetts Members of Congress (MOCs) on board with reining in Medicare Advantage fraud.

Medicare Advantage is ravaging the Medicare system by giving large sums of money to private insurance companies which provide limited insurance coverage to increase their profits, and are committing fraud too.

Please contact your MOCs and ask them to sign onto this letter to the Secretary of Health & Human Services and the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) from Senator Elizabeth Warren, Rep. Pramila Jayapal and others requesting that they rein in Medicare Advantage Fraud. The deadline for signing is Friday, Feb. 16th!

Senator Warren’s letter echoes key points and actions that Valley Action and Indivisible groups across Massachusetts urged CMS to take in this letter we sent to CMS in January.

CMS will make an announcement in April about rules changes that could immediately stop the fraud being committed by the private health insurance companies selling Medicare Advantage plans. Right now, CMS is hearing from the private insurers to not change anything. Our elected officials need to tell CMS to not back down, protect seniors, and to stop the fraud.
