Get on the bus and join us in the fight to end mass incarceration in Massachusetts! June 19th is Juneteenth, the holiday that celebrates the end of slavery in the U.S., but we continue to live in the "New Jim Crow" era with massive racial disparities in who gets incarcerated and for how long. We commit ourselves on this Juneteenth to organize, testify and fight back! Join us as we head to Boston for a rally and Judiciary Committee hearing that will send a message to our legislators that we won't quit until we win major criminal justice reform this year! We will be partnering with Neighbor to Neighbor and SEIU to provide transportation on the 19th. Snacks and water will be provided!
