INDIVIDUALS TAKING POLITICAL ACTION - WORKING TOWARD A BETTER TOMORROW
Our next meeting is Wednesday, July 25, 2025 at 6:30 pm - our plan is to once again meet in person and via Zoom. Email us at valleyactiongroup@gmail.com for the address or Zoom link.
Action is The Antidote to Anxiety
Whether you have been looking for the right way to engage to protect citizens and our nation against the onslaught of harmful policies or it is all too anxiety provoking and you need to avoid the news, this message is for you. This struggle will take time to fix. Here are tips to right size your engagement to fit your life. Do not despair. It is important to understand that the voters, especially in numbers, have enormous power and impact - so it is important to work together. Read more here on how we will defend our democracy. And then do some actions.

Talk to moderate Republican friends, family and see if they will make calls to their Republican officials about things like cuts to cancer research, Veterans health, aid to Farmers.
Send Postcards
If you want, you can fill out this form and we will get you what you need to get postcards and/or addresses on important upcoming races/issues.

Wednesday, June 25 & Thursday, June, 26, 11:00 am to -12:30 pm. Sign up here to all voters and connect them directly to their Republican Senator to urge Republicans to oppose the Trump Tax Scam. Republicans in Congress are trying to ram this through using budget reconciliation, bypassing bipartisan support to give trillions in tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy. How? Slash Medicaid, SNAP, and early education programs—so billionaires can hoard more wealth.

Donate to one of these organizations that are suing the Trump/Musk administration on behalf of all of us: ACLU, Public Citizen, Center for Constitutional Rights, Southern Poverty Law Center, Citizens for Ethics and Responsibility in Washington. And, NPR is under threat to lose federal funding. Show your support by donating to NEPM.
