Action is The Antidote to Anxiety

Some additional thoughts to keep in mind. This struggle will take time to fix. Do not despair. It is important to understand that the voters, especially in numbers, have enormous power and impact - so it is important to work together. Read more here on how we will defend our democracy. And then do some actions listed below.

  • Visibility Brigade — Valley Action is encouraging folks to join this very effective grassroots form of protest where easy to see LARGE signs are displayed on overpasses. TENNESSEE! Republican’s hold a razor thin 219-214 marjority in the US House. The November 4th elections showed that Dems are fired up and are capable of flipping seats we never thought possible. We have one more chance to flip a US House seat in 2025. A special election to decide Tennessee’s 7th District is set for Dec. 2nd but early voting is happening right now! Please help by calling voters and urging them to vote for Aftyn Behn, who currently represents parts of Nashville in the Tennessee General Assembly. Click a link below to register for the days that work with your schedule.

    Fridays (11/21 & 11/28) 6:30 - 8:30 pm

    Sundays (11/23 & 11/30) 4:30 - 6:00 pm

Our Work

Our Purpose

Valley Action started out of a living room with a group of friends concerned about important issues facing our world. We continue to be concerned about the state of our democracy. We are people who want a voice in the progress of our community.

We are a registered Indivisible Group.
